Privacy
We're drafting a full privacy notice. Until it's published, the short version is below — and you can email hello@crumbli.tech with any question.
The demo on this page
When you try the live demo on crumbli.tech, your image is parsed, briefly stored so the desktop can display it alongside the parsed result, and then hard-deleted within 5 minutes of capture (or as soon as you close the browser tab, whichever comes first). We do not write it to S3, we do not retain it beyond that window, and we do not use it to train models. Anonymous request metadata (size, MIME type, parse duration, outcome) is logged so we can keep the demo working and prevent abuse.
The parsing itself is performed by Anthropic's Claude API. Under Anthropic's default commercial policy, inputs may be retained on their servers for up to 30 days for trust-and-safety purposes before being deleted. We do not opt in to any training-data programs and our commercial agreement with Anthropic prohibits the use of customer inputs to train models.
For cross-device demos, we store a session token (a UUID), the parsed result text, and the image bytes in our database for up to 5 minutes so the desktop can show them next to the result. After 5 minutes (or whenever you start a fresh demo), the entire row — image and all — is hard-deleted by a background sweep on the next poll.
The product
Once you create an account, receipts you upload are stored in S3 (Canada region) and indexed in our database (also Canada region). Access is scoped to your organization with row-level security. You can export or delete your data at any time.
